Ashford University was founded in 1917 and established in 1918. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of this university is Dr. Richard L. pattenaude. As we know there are different types of universities, some of them are established for making profit and some of them are non-profit ,likewise Ashford university is a for-profit university it is in list of for-profit universities. It's headquartered in San Diego located in California. And the logo color on this university is Purple , Gold. The university consist of four colleges: the Forbes school of business, the college of getting good knowledge and education, the college of  knowing  Health, Human services, and science, and the college of learning Liberal Arts. It is the largest educational organization holding of campus and online. while there are in bulk numbers of student enrolled in online courses, According of the data of 2014 there was about 74,596 students Enrollment. Ashford is accredited by the WASC senior College and University Commission. The mission of Ashford university is to provide a very new ,unique, effective , cheap and high-quality learning opportunities. A a degree programs is to provide good job opportunities for every individual students, in their lives and communities. Ashford has many programs such as: Behavioral Science, Business, Communications, Criminal Justice, Education, Health Care, Information Technology, Liberal Art, Political Science etc.
